My first reaction is, Wow, this author has a great writing style! The second is that she has a clever way of drawing her readers into the lines, into the story, into the lives of two people that share the exact same thing; unusual sexual desires. This well written book drew me in like a flame does to a candle. You will be able to use all of your senses, to feel each moment pass by. Yes, as the pages turn you mind will not wonder because of the intensity of what the writer wishes to share. You might be able to relate to parts of the story in a good way, as a learning experience like I did. I learned that Missy Weaver and he past and present life are not so different. I wondered why would she want a man to dominate her? Why would she feel so much love for a man that was able to engulf her entire being, body-soul-and mind all at once. It took one encounter for her to realize who she really was.Quotes from the book:

I really liked this story because it's ;
A Fascinating short Erotic story exploring the duality of power and control, submissive and dominant. Karen uses exquisite word play and metaphors to engage the reader and presents a transmutation between human psyche and natural human instinct. Each chapter adds intrinsically builds on the last up till the end where you find a want for more.
Karens writing in "Deep Within Her", presents Erotica in a very tasteful manner pulling at our own human emotion and fantasy on each word. She provide the reader with content that as humans, we have to give great thought to our own feelings about the fate of our relationships.

I loved this book, and look forward to following the series! The head turning speed from which Missy and James utter their first hello, to Missy's submission, is not so believable; but the story is so good, I could care less about how their relationship happened. The sexual acts performed are kinky, and very much a part of BDSM. I respect how the author was not afraid to "go there", doing like many authors who want to be more mainstream by dialing back the kink to nothing more than spanking and light bondage. Loved this book and highly recommend!
Not usually my favorite genre of literature, but Ms. Silver is such an astounding writer that I found myself compelled to read on. I reached a point where the action was making me uncomfortable (humiliation does that to me) and so stopped, but that is not to say I wasn't intrigued, because I was; I simply have different tastes. I would recommend this book to anyone who has an open mind, enjoys erotica, and is looking for representations of the genre as written by a woman. Ms. Silver's talent is unquestioned. I predict success in her every enterprise.
